Days LeftWhen I was around the age of 8, my mom took me to this animal sanctuary down south of where I live called Best Friends Animal Sanctuary. This was one of the best trips I have ever been on. We got to volunteer with the cats and dogs, even rabbits. Around the 3,700 acres of the sanctuary, there are many animal houses such as Cat World, Dog Town, Wild Friends, Horse Haven plus more. There are over 1,600 animals in the sanctuary, each and every staff member working hard to take care of all of them and get them all adopted! The whole mission of Best Friends is to “save them all” and they are working to make No-Kill 2025, which means that all of America’s shelters will be no-kill by 2025.
